Robbie vs Swim Serpentine

My Story
Thank you for visiting my Swim Serpentine fundraising page to raise funds for We Hear You (WHY)
Always one for a challenge, I have always wanted to put myself out of my comfort zone and did this last year when I completed the 0.5 mile distance. Now I am back in 2025 with a bigger challenge. To swim the 2 mile version! For somebody who is a very nervous swimmer, this is going to be a massive challenge for me, but one I am doing for the charity I work for as I can see first hand just how important they are.
We Hear You (WHY) offers professional counselling for anyone affected by cancer or other life-threatening condition. They cover Bath & North East Somerset, Somerset and Wiltshire. WHY provides the psychological support that is so vital when such a diagnosis turns life upside down. Although patients’ medical needs are well met by the health services, their emotional needs are not. The impact spreads far beyond the individual diagnosed to their partners, carers, children and other loved ones.
I understand that times are particularly challenging right now, and any contribution would be greatly appreciated by both myself and We Hear You.
Thank You.
